We had the pleasure of sampling some really wonderful homemade foods today from Pearl and Lyla!  Both of these students come from Jewish heritages and wanted to share with us abit about the holidays Purim and Passover.  We look forward to reading the books they also shared with us!  Thank you to Pearl and Lyla and their families for sharing during International Week!

We had another special visitor today!  Flynn’s mom, Connie, joined us to do some special reading in anticipation of Literacy Week and also in celebration of their Scottish heritage.  We did not get a chance to read the special book from Flynn and his mom about Scotland (Sorry, Miss Nicki’s fault), but we did really enjoy having Connie in the room and the story she read about the dinosaurs!  We also were invited to a birthday party and got to play in a new room!
