Friday, September 12th

The students had an eclectic day today!  We were able to experience a number of activities and were also able to combine with members of 2A (the class just across the hall from us), for a joint sandbox play session. 

Morning Meeting

• Name songs and familiar songs (There is a Friend in School Today, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Old McDonald, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Wheels on the Bus). 

Language/Literacy

• Familiar favorites: Pete the Cat, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Good Night Moon, Moo Baa Lalala, Where is the Green Sheep?

Science/Discoveries

•      Water play
•      Sand play 

Art

•      Revisiting Play Dough
•      Painting at the easel
