The students continue to become more and more comfortable with being at school!  A few new “toys” were added to the room to encourage problem solving and provide many disguised opportunities to experiment with the properties of gravity, matter, sound, and sight. 

Morning Meeting

•       Pouring, Scooping, Dropping – feathers and Pom-Poms
•       Variety Shakers (with 6 different substance/items to affect the experience of weight, sound, and visual of each “shaker”)
•       Does this fit?  Look it falls!  - a box with different size tubes and different size balls/ Pom-Poms. 

Music/Movement

• Free play in the gym
• Can you do what I’m doing? – challenging the students to do different movements with our colorful circles to help. 

Art

• Drawing with Crayons at floor level.
