Wednesday, November 26th

We had a fun day continuing our exploration of light.  We are working to provide the students with experiences that will provide opportunities that reinforce and further the understanding of this material.  Today, it seemed that we focused a great deal on what light looks like inside of something else.

A new class favorite, "Mr.  Tiger Goes Wild".

Ethan seemed to really like the way this bag looked with some of our small lights inside.

Lounging in the gym.

I asked Flynn which box was his favorite.  He likes the blue one alot.

Flynn thought it was funny that I wanted to be in the box with him.  Only my head would fit on his lap.   We laughed alot.

Ethan, removing and replacing the small light inside of the magnet tile cube.

Misha also liked using the small lights inside of a cube of magnet tiles.

Flynn, sweeping up the light.

Tuesday, November 25th

Today we celebrated Pearl’s 2nd birthday!  We talked about how great Elmo is, we ate some really delicious homemade muffins, and we read some favorite books.  Julie, Pearls mom, and Pearl’s grandparents were here to brighten the event.  We also painted and continued to explore the experiences with light available around the room!
