The students
desperately want to take the elephant (Janet and I put in a box), out of the
box. In an attempt to make the
experience as fulfilling as possible, we continue to request that we’d like
them to open the box. We’ve used a blunt
plastic knife, but so far have only gotten a variety of utensils stuck in the
box. As an adult it’s easy to
immediately see a solution and fly in to help, but this puts children at a
disadvantage with out situations to learn from and gain assurance in abilities
from.
