Thursday, October 6th

Today we celebrated Misha’s 2nd birthday!  His celebration included an experience with glue, allowing us to make ducks out of our gift bags.  We also shared a delicious assortment of fruit and blueberry muffins.  Thanks Zaheniya and Max for the wonderful activity and snacks!

An additional excitement of the day included a continuation of exploring light and shadow.  In an attempt to bring specific focus to light, the room was adorned with a set of untraditional lighting meant to excite and inspire.

Annabelle, after seeing the shadow on the wall of the lion.  She then joined me on the carpet, sat on my lap for what seemed like some comfort and said, "OOH, scary. Who's dat?"

"Ah! Scary!"- Noam, also in reference to the lion on the projector.  Did he feel the same as Annabelle or did he overhear my conversation with Annabelle?
