Monday, March 2nd

With the beginning of Literacy Week, it seemed beneficial to focus on the alphabet in some playful ways.  The students were given letter and number stamps, we read a variety of books that include the entire alphabet, and we’ve continued to talk about the first letter of everyone’s name!  The gym was also particularly fun today, too, because of the new set of mirrors that have been hung.  It’s funny the way the students like to see what they look like when they move in a particular way.

There's a hole in the sandbox that the kids like to put things in.  Janet asked Flynn if he would fit.  Flynn was too keen on Janet's trick and said, "I'm too big, Janet!!" We all laughed.
