Tuesday, March 17th
Because
of the time we’ve taken to work with letters and the alphabet, it seemed like
it might be fun to provide the students with paper and writing utensils. We’ve never used pens or pencils in the classroom,
but the children always seem intrigued when any of the adults in the room use
one. Maybe the students will explore a
form of writing that is expressive and meaningful to them if given pencils,
rather than crayons. We’ve also
introduced some water activities that resemble what we have in the sensory
room. The children have loved visiting
that space.
