A portion of our day was spent exploring spring
again with flowers and vibrant colors.
The students were given paint earlier in the week to paint images of flowers. When we did this, the group was most
interested in seeing how the flowers looked like with paint, and also seemed to
enjoy using the flowers as paintbrushes.
Because of these observations, a slightly different experience was
provided today. Glue mixed with
watercolor paint was provided for dribbling over flowers and onto a
canvas. White tulips were used to
enhance the use of these sticky, colorful paints. We also had a great music session with Evan
and visited the Sensory Room.
