We spent the majority of our day at the park, playing in the sprinklers. The students seem to really enjoy the experience and it was a great day to get sopping wet! Some students walk almost effortlessly into the sprinkles, whiles others are still more hesitant of the water. We sampled some fruit salad while waiting to enter the sprinklers and talked about the fruits we like. While playing in the water, everyone seemed fairly talkative. We talked about the rain, showers and baths, and the Spanish word for water - agua.
Elle, held out the hammer, suggesting that a turn be taken.
Elle, struggled abit to remove these tubes, but it was a struggle we let her work through. Knowing that she would soon be able to retrieve the toys all on her own, we gave her verbal encouragment her.
Anna, reading to Laura.
She pointed to one of the pages and said, "Truck. Very loud!"
Greta, Teddy's older sister, giving him a big hug.
